What is KeltaFreight?

A freight marketplace connecting shippers directly with verified carriers. Post loads, receive competitive bids, track shipments in real time, and pay securely through escrow.

Who can use KeltaFreight?

Shippers who need freight moved, carriers with DOT authority, and freight brokers managing loads on behalf of clients.

Is KeltaFreight free to use?

Signing up and browsing loads is free. A 15% platform fee is applied to each completed shipment to cover payment processing, insurance verification, and platform services.

For Shippers

How do I post a load?

Sign up as a shipper, click “Post Load” from your dashboard, enter pickup/delivery addresses, select equipment type, add cargo details, and set your price. Carriers will bid on your load.

How does payment work?

When you accept a carrier’s bid, payment is held in escrow via Stripe. Funds are released to the carrier only after you confirm delivery and proof of delivery (POD) is submitted.

Can I cancel a load?

Yes, you can cancel before a carrier has picked up. If payment was already escrowed, it will be refunded. Cancellations after pickup may be subject to partial charges.

How do I track my shipment?

Once a carrier is assigned, real-time tracking is available on the load detail page with map view and milestone updates.

For Carriers

How do I get verified?

During registration, provide your DOT number, MC number, and proof of insurance. Our team reviews documentation, typically within 24–48 hours.

How do I get paid?

Set up your Stripe Connect account from your Profile page. After delivery is confirmed with POD, your payout is transferred automatically — usually within 2–3 business days.

What equipment types are supported?

18 types including pickup trucks, cargo vans, box trucks, flatbeds, dry vans, refrigerated trailers, RV transport, boat trailers, and more.

Can I withdraw a bid?

Yes, you can withdraw a pending bid at any time before the shipper accepts it.

Payments & Security

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe with 256-bit SSL encryption. KeltaFreight never stores your card details.

What is escrow?

Escrow means the shipper’s payment is held securely by Stripe until the load is delivered and confirmed. This protects both parties.

What happens if there’s a dispute?

Either party can file a dispute through the load detail page. Our admin team reviews the evidence and resolves disputes fairly.

Account

How do I update my profile?

Go to Profile from the bottom navigation or dashboard. You can update your information, manage Stripe settings, and view your ratings.

Can I use KeltaFreight as both a shipper and carrier?

Each account has a single role. If you need both, create separate accounts with different email addresses.
